Being a male, Christian blogger is not easy. I started blogging in August of 2015 and it has been a struggle to consistently reach my target audience of Christian men.
With little to show for my months of writing, I continue to go back to the time that God began to put the idea in my mind that He wanted me to start a blog to encourage Christians, reach an online generations, and develop my writing skills.
It’s really quite amazing that we have the opportunity to literally reach across the globe in seconds with the push of a button. But getting your message to those people in the crowded online space is quite challenging.
Sure, I love reaching and encouraging all people to find and live the with-God life, but, as a male Christian, I know that my target group desperately needs to read encouraging articles about living for God.
That’s why I want to share the following blogs with you. These men are doing it! They are reaching thousands upon thousands of Christians, many of them men, with the good news of Jesus, practical Christian living advice, and encouraging and prophetic words.
My Top 10 Male Christian Bloggers
A quick disclaimer is probably needed here. First of all, there are way more than 10 great male Christian bloggers. Second, there are a lot of bloggers that I have not seen. Third, some of the great, popular Christian male bloggers have a focus that doesn’t resonate with me and, therefore, are not included here. I am interested in encouraging, biblically inspired Christian living topics.

3. Greg Boyd | reknew.org
Led by best-selling author, teacher, and theologian Greg Boyd, Reknew invites believers and skeptics alike to ask tough questions and consider a renewed picture of God and of his kingdom. At the center of ReKnew is the very-old-yet-new idea that the love Jesus demonstrated on the cross is the full revelation of the true, non-violent, self-sacrificial character of God and of the character that God’s people are called to cultivate. This stands in stark contrast to what most people believe about God and how most people understand what it means to be “Christian.”
I love this blog because…well, I honestly just really like Greg Boyd’s teaching style and deep theological wisdom that he relates at an understandable level.

7. Gene Whitehead | genewhitehead.com
Gene writes about the world we live in and the experiences of life through the lens of scripture. Another way to say that is simple theology for a messy life. His desire is to share hope and to help facilitate conversation by wrestling through topics, culture and events. Sometimes it’s funny, serious or entertaining. Occasionally uncomfortable, educational or even a bit controversial.
I love this blog because Gene does a great job at looking at life through a slightly different lens. It makes you pause and think, “Am I looking at life through Scripture?”
